Ab sofort stellt Microsoft das Service Pack 1 für Windows 7 für alle zum Download zur Verfügung.
Das ServicePack1 für Windows 7 steht als ISO Image bereit und kann auf DVD gebrannt werden.

Das Service Pack 1 für Windows 7 unterstützt nun die Befehlssatzerweiterung AVX von Intels Prozessoren der Serie Core-i-2000 (Sandy Bridge). Außerdem noch die funktionale Neuerung “Microsoft Desktop Optimization Pack (MDOP), dazu noch ein verbessertes Management des Bitlockers und Bitlocker to Go.
